In 2012, Washingtonian Problems started as a blog on Tumblr to spread awareness about the happenings in Washington, DC. In January of 2019, it moved to Instagram to have a better chance of building a solid community.
The brand's mission is to foster a deep love for Washington, DC, through informing residents about what's happening across the city, providing laughter, and allowing followers to engage with the brand.
This can be through interactive content such as quizzes and our story series, which encompasses dating and friendship, which enables community members to submit their content.
